Hop Farm, Paddocks Wood, Kent
Josh and I were very excited to visit Santa’s Magical Kingdom at the ever-popular Hop Farm in Kent.
The journey was treacherous in the torrential rain, road spray, suface
water and 100 mph winds but we made it and we are really glad we continued
our journey instead of turning round and going home!
From start to finish this was a truly ‘magical’ experience and certainly
lives up to it’s name. The Elves were absolutely first class, so friendly
and lovely with the children. Mrs Claus was very welcoming and the real
reindeer were a treat to see. Josh was absolutely wide-eyed at it all.
The Christmas displays and all the twinkling lights certainly got you
into the Christmas spirit.
On arrival you are escorted out to a road train which takes you on a
short journey to the Kingdom. Here you live the train behind and walk
around Santa’s Magical Kingdom which is all indoors. Each child has a
Golden Ticket which they collect ‘stamps’ on for every area they visit.
At the end of your journey (which takes about an hour and a half) it’s
time to meet Santa! He engaged in friendly conversation and Josh told
him that he wanted a phone for Christmas! Josh received a lovely present
from Santa which was good quality and aimed at his age and the kind of
thing he likes. A photo was taken with Santa which was available to purchase
at £6 each afterwards.

From here you go on to enjoy a fantastic Christmas Pantomime.
This experience is a must for all families with children who ‘still
believe’ Santa’s Magical Kingdom is open between 14 November and
24 December, there are time slots available between 11am and 5:00pm. Tickets cost from £25 per person and if families purchase mid week tickets during November they can enjoy fee ice skating and rides in the Hop Farm.
