Coach-built pram
What is it?
A traditionally styled, large, hard-bodied pram with big spoked wheels and a shopping
tray.
Is it for me?
- These prams offer superb comfort and usually have excellent suspension which means you can walk a sleeping baby for miles. They are also large and sturdy enough for toddlers to ride in
- They cannot be carried in the car
- They cannot be taken on public transport. They are heavy and very difficult to manoeuvre up and down steps, and will not fit through many shop doors
- An expensive buy as you will definitely also need a pushchair later on
