This attractive park is home to around 300 different species of mammals, birds,
reptiles, fish and invertebrates in spacious and carefully landscaped enclosures. Feeding
sessions, animal encounters and demonstrations, children’s farmyard, large adventure
playground, narrow gauge railway and brass-rubbing centre.
Open all year round from 9 April (closed 25 December, no activities
or railway October-March)
Car park, catering on site, picnic site, toilets, parent/baby facilities,
pushchair/wheelchair ramps, gift and children’s shop.
