What is it?
A traditional pushchair with a fully reclining seat, fixed to a collapsible chassis
which folds down flat and has a fixed shopping tray or basket. Some models have a seat
which can be positioned either forward or rear facing while others are fixed facing
forwards. A wedge may be included to make the seat flatter for newborn babies.
Is it for me?
- Sturdy pushchair that is suitable for newborns, with the right accessories, to around 3
years - Good for shopping and carrying things underneath
More solid than an umbrella folding buggy but less practical for travelling or storage,
as it is bigger when folded and heavier to lift
