Why go to the East Anglia?

Historically East Anglia comprised the counties of Norfolk
and Suffolk but more recently Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and
Hertfordshire have been classified in the same region, adding to the
richness that this area has to offer. With its wonderful scenery, beautiful
beaches and variety of things to do – from boating on the Norfolk Broads
to touring the ancient Cambridge colleges – there’s something for everyone
to enjoy. Family attractions include the sandy beaches that run for
miles along the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts, historic castles and houses,
and animal and bird sanctuaries. The further east you travel, the further
back in time you seem to step, as traffic queues melt away and the country
air becomes cleaner.
