Nearly 5,000 animals live in natural surroundings within the 110 acres of Chester Zoo,
including many rare and endangered species. A tropical house, penguin pool, chimpanzee
island, aquarium, elephant house, children’s farm and waterbus rides all add to the
excitement of a visit to this friendly zoo.
Open from 7 April 2001. Always call first to check opening times. Car park, catering on site, picnic site, toilets, parent/baby facilities, pushchair/wheelchair ramps, shop.
