Babyworld’s big test

Our parent panel have come up trumps this month with their detailed reviews on what works in the world of swim nappies.
The panel is a group of mums from Berkhampstead who met through their antenatal classes at the local ‘Berko clinic’. The babies are now all over a year old and their mummies ensure they meet up every week
for swimming, coffee and play.
All about swim nappies
We simply couldn’t let summer go by without giving swim nappies a good run for their money. Not only are they an essential buy for summer, but the majority of parents rely on them all year round when taking their baby to the local swimming pool, health club or lido.
A good swim nappy will provide comfort for baby, reassurance for mum and dad and keep the swimming pool nice and hygienic for everyone else! Disposable nappies are good for those who go swimming occasionally, but if you’re a regular visitor to the pool, a proper swim nappy with good absorbency and quality materials is key. It’s also important to look for adjustable fastenings or stretchy fabrics that will accommodate your growing baby – otherwise you’ll be splashing out on new nappies every month!

What we tested for
Our parent panel looked at six different swim nappies - testing them over a period of four weeks at their local swimming classes. Our mums gave the ‘babyworld best buy’ award to the Zoggs swim nappy, but you may find other nappies scored better in other categories.
