These are similar to the conventional sound baby monitors, but also monitor the temperature in the baby’s room and relay the information to the parent’s unit where it is displayed on an electronic screen. Some baby monitors also include a sensor pad which can be placed under the baby’s mattress to monitor movement and breathing for additional reassurance.
