For babies, tablets should be crushed between two clean teaspoons and dissolved in 2fl oz of warm water, giving a teaspoon full as a dose. For young children, the tablets should be given crushed. Chamomilla is available in drop form.
Coughing is a reflex action to rid the air passages of unwanted debris, usually mucus. Recurrent coughs should be treated by a practitioner. Hot honey and lemon drinks can help soothe the throat. Dry, centrally heated atmospheres can aggravate coughs.
Remedy every four hours up to six doses in acute attack.
