Sioned has been working with breastfeeding mums for more than twenty years and certainly has a wealth of experience to help the babyworld mums with various challenges they are facing with their breastfeeding.
Sioned has been the Lactation Consultant and Education Manager for Medela UK since 2007. And has an active role in sharing information and supporting mums. Sioned has published in both academic and mother and baby journals. She is active at local and national level providing workshops and study seminars for health professionals, the retailers and mums!
Prior to her Education role with Medela, Sioned practiced as a Health Visitor and Neonatal Nurse she worked at Liverpool Women’s NICU and Southport and Ormskirk Hospital Neonatal Unit for 15 years. Her wealth of experience and knowledge underpins her understanding of breastfeeding in difficult circumstances and it was this experience that encouraged her to specialise in lactation management.
