    Hi,

Although bleeding isn’t uncommon during pregnancy, it should always be checked out, especially at this stage. I would advise that you get in contact with your midwife or local hospital to get checked out as soon as possible. All the best.

    Thank you for your reply.
I went to the hospital and they said, that everything looks fine. I dont have any more bleeding, but during last week I have brown discharge and its not going away. Do you know why it could be? Is there any danger for the baby?
    Please advice

    Hi,

I’m glad to hear you went to the hospital to get checked out and all seemed fine. It’s not uncommon to experience brown bleeding after a fresh bleed. Brown blood means it’s old blood and if everything was fine when you were checked out when you had the fresh bleeding, this brown loss is unlikely to be a cause for concern, most likely just the tail end of the initial bleed. Most of the time small bleeds are unexplained and it’s likely the brown discharge you are experiencing will stop soon. However, if it doesn’t, or you experience any further fresh bleeding, pain or and other concern then do get back in contact with your midwife/the hospital. All the best.
