Hello. I am currently just under 6 weeks pg and I am experiencing pains in my lower abdomen on the right hand side and have been for a couple of days. I know pains can be normal but last year I had a EP which resulted in the removal of my left tube. As the pain is in my right side I’m worrying that it might be happening again. Am I being paranoid or should I get it checked? Ps I am experiencing no bleeding.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Yes, aches and pains in early pregnancy are common, but given your history of an ectopic pregnancy, I would suggest you see your GP to get a check up just to be on the safe side. You may be entitled to an early scan and possibly a blood test given what has happened in the past. All the best.
