Hiya, had a copper coil fitted on 9th Nov 2011. i had periods 10th Dec 2011 and 10th Jan 2012. but nothing since, so a week late now. have felt awful all week. can only describe as morning sickness,and very bloated, windy, headaches. is it really that likey to be pregnant? i just can’t believe i am but i stupidly googled it!!! Although it’s not unusual for periods to be irregular whilst you have a coil in place, you do have some of the classic symptoms of early pregnancy. As your period is late, I would suggest you take a pregnancy test to find out either way. All the best.
