Sorry to hear your baby isn’t very well and you’re worried. Given your baby’s symptoms and age, I would advise that you take her to see the GP or health visitor, who should be able to help.

Hi Jacq,
Babies do occasionally have green poo, and if they’re otherwise well (i.e. they’re not unsettled or miserable), it’s not likely to be a cause for concern. It’s most likely due to the change in milk but do speak to your midwife, health visitor or GP if you’re at all concerned.

hi can i please ask i had sex 10 days ago my period started on 2 may and i have had pains in my belly feeling sick all the time and sore boobs i also have a daughter that will be 2 on 30 june i have never had no sex after her till 10 days ago is there anyway you can tell me what is happening to me as took a test the morning on first wee and come up neg and with my first pregnancy did not know i was pregnant till i was 8 weeks gone went to change my doctors and they done a test and said i was pregnant but was always on my period and all my periods since i started have never been same time and never had no symtomps what so ever so can anyone please help when i sould do a test thanks xx

Hi,
It’s common to lose some old blood/discharge and possibly feel quite crampy following a sweep. However, if the blood is not mixed with any mucous and it’s not easing or it’s soaking through a pad then it needs looking into. Do speak your midwife if you’re at all concerned.
