So sad to see all the names gone. Babyworld got me through some really tough times. Really rubbish to see that they are going down the toilet now

I was having an interesting chat with a taxi driver today. Apparently, the local council pay his firm, per child, for him to pick up children that live outside of our town and take them to school at not cost to their parents because it’s deemed too far for them to walk and there is [...]

Hi I’ve noticed it a few times but it only seems to be the first post that duplicates, then when someone’s replied the duplicate post disappears (I thought someone was removing them!) There’s one on DDD now ‘It’s been lovely…’I've got a jpeg of the double post if you want it…just let me who to [...]

Having said that though, I’m also a bit of an annoying singer. I sing to myself at work constantly. I get asked why I’m singing quite a lot, to which my usual reply is “why ARN’T you?” lol

That’s a great plan, Sandra! I might try that when my two eventually get to the stage where I need to wake them in the morning instead of the other way round!

Rachel – what a great story! Your ds will love that story when he’s older!
I find Prince Phillip quite amusing but if someone I knew in rl was like that, they’d probably drive me mental!

I think he’s great! he’s my favourite royal! Apart from William and Harry of course. I’ve met him several times as we live near Sandringham and often go there several times over the Xmas period and during January to see them leave church. We saw him on New year’s day and there were very few [...]

I am always singing. I used to sing to them at night or to get them to sleep sometimes when they were tiny. Now I sing to them on a morning to wake them up. I randomly make songs up about why they have to get out of bed, usually to a different tune everyday, [...]

Came to say goodbye to Kaye, and thanks for all the years of keeping us in line! lol It’s the same for me, though, as others have already said. This used to be a great place for a debate over a cup of tea, whilst we were raising out little ones, sadly it’s only a [...]

I have met him on several occassions and I personally think he is a fantastic ambassador. He does not suffer fools and speaks his mind and its a small price to pay for all his hard work – Duke of Edinburgh award scheme for starters. He is fabulous!

I have never sang to my 4. I have always read to them and still do now, but never sang them to sleep. To be honest mine have never needed to be rocked or sang to at bedtime – its always been a case of into bed and to sleep. Me singing would most likely [...]

We’re checking on the double posting issue. Can you provide us with more information on when you’ve seen this happen?
We’ve made a couple tweaks that may make the pages load faster. Let us know as well

Did anyone go to The Baby Show this weekend? I absolutely loved it! Picked up lots of bits for my baby and was surprised at just how much discounts on the products were offered. I made time to attend some of the expert speakers including the midwives from One Born Every Minute and Jo Tatum [...]
