Don’t Just Stand There… I’m Having Your Baby
Does a man really appreciate everything a woman goes through during pregnancy and childbirth?
After a successful first series, BBC Three are on the hunt for fathers-to-be, living in this region, who would be willing to learn about all aspects of pregnancy and become a real support to their partner during labour. A report by the Royal College of Midwives in 2012 stressed just how important it is for expectant fathers to be included in all aspects of maternity care and underlines the benefits for the whole family.
This fantastic opportunity includes one-to-one coaching sessions with a professional midwife; preparing the dad for the birth of their first born. This is a great chance to turn a daunting experience into a rewarding one.
Casting is taking place now so if you are expecting the birth of your child in August – mid October please get in touch for an application form ASAP!

I am 30 weeks pregnant and my upper back hurts badly. I have not experienced this before. My lower back has hurt previously but not to this extent. Should I be worried that I am in labor or is this just normal pregnancy issues.
