It took me a few goes to try and work out the best positions for my baby. Initially I found the instructions a little unclear and struggled to get to grips with it, but I eventually got there.
I haven’t been on any particularly long journeys yet with my 16 week old, but I would imagine that my back would start to ache after a little while (he’s quite a big baby).
For a relatively short trip out though I would recommend this as it’s lightweight and doesn’t get the baby too hot. A previous baby carrier I had made both my baby and I sweat!
It’s great quality, can be folded away in the bag it comes in, nice and compactly for easy storage when you’re out and about, and looks great (I went for the charcoal grey one).

Myself and husband were really pleased with the BabySling. It’s comfy and easy to use even if it did take a few goes to get used to it! Great choice of colours ours is the striking turquoise blue and it’s great. The padded shoulder straps are brilliant too.
Can’t wait for my 12 week old to become stronger so that we can try the different positions.

I have two other types of baby carriers prior to the BabaSling Lite- a baby wrap and a Mei Tai carrier. The BabaSling Lite is very easy to put on compared to the other two, which is a huge plus point especially when my month-old baby is crying her lungs out in her pram and needs some cuddling.
I received the BabaSling Lite just in time for the week-long British summer so I had the chance to try it out when I was out with my little one. I’ve never had the original BabaSling so could not comment on how much lighter the BabaSling Lite is, but my warm baby still felt uncomfortable being in the sling during summer.
The BabaSling Lite is made of good quality materials has a very well-padded shoulder strap. It is very comfortable to wear but my lower back did start to ache when the journey got a bit long. I have also tested the BabaSling Lite with my 21 month old toddler, on the Side Saddle position. He felt comfortable in it but again, due to his weight I started to feel pressure on my lower back soon after.
