Short Title: A wonderful must have pram!
Review:
I have this pram in black- and its wonderful! Such a quality item- I cannot begin to tell you just how impressed I am with it, though I will certainly try!
It is suitable from birth as the seat lies perfectly flat with lovely deep sides to make baby feel comfy and secure- in fact as I write this review my daughter is sleeping happily in the pram after the school drop off! The pram comes with adaptors so you can attach BABY-SAFE car seat or BABY-SAFE sleeper or carrycot. This is my only issue I have with the pram as they don’t have adaptors for other brands of car seat. This is understandable really its just that I got this pram when my daughter was 6 months so already had a different car seat and it would be good to fix that to the pram- but not a necessity and not a good enough reason not to get this awesome pram.
The B-Agile has a detachable hood, I have never seen a hood quite like this- it shades baby well as it is a substantial size as you can see from the picture. However, it also has a zip in the middle of the hood- once unzipped there is a mesh between the two halves and allows for air to circulate round baby and also increases the shaded area, a blooming fantastic idea as I have never found parasols shade baby that well! There is also a very large pocket attached to the back of the hood for mum to use- you can remove this but its far to handy in my opinion to remove!
The pram has suspension so baby isn’t bumped around. The handling of this pram is phenomenal- so very light and quick to respond, very easy to push one handed which is great for crossing roads with older siblings!
My nearly 5 year old (though small for his age) wanted to try this pram out- he is 15kg and it was roomy for him and very easy to push! He was very jealous his sister has such a ‘cool’ pram!
The pram has 2 small wheels at the front and 2 large at the back- we live in a village in the country and it has stood the test of bumpy roads and off roading! The wheels are very very easy to remove either to wash or to allow the pram to fit somewhere very small.
The pram is equipped with a good size shopping basket which can be accessed when baby is fully reclined. Unlike other prams that have 2/3 set recline positions the seat on the B-Agile can be set at whatever angle you need and if baby falls asleep while sat up adjusting the seat back is very smooth it will not wake them.
The pram is well balanced and near impossible to tip (I have a 4 year old son… this has been tested)
At the parent side of the pram at the bottom it is curved so anyone with a long stride will not bash the pram with their feet- and although the handle is not adjustable we have found this isn’t an issue as I am 5’2′ and my husband is 6’2 and we both can push it comfortably.
The pram comes with a rain cover that is quick and easy to attach in the case of a sudden downpour! You can buy a bumper bar for the pram as an extra if you wish- and I love the look of a bumper bar so did this, and it looks lovely and Annie’s toys can be attached and its very easy to unclip at one side to get her out.
Finally let me talk about the ‘easy one-handed pull-fold mechanism’. I was skeptical as I have had many prams that were meant to be easy to fold one handed and well they weren’t! However, the B-Agile did not lie!!! It is so impressive- anyone who comes into my house gets a demonstration! Click a button in at the side and grab the handle that is in the middle of the seat and it folds- just like that! I tried it while holding Annie so see how realistic it is- and it worked!!!! If I could attach a video I would its very impressive!!!
To summarise- if you have got as far as to read a review on the B-Agile it means you are considering it- now I would say you just need to buy it as honestly you will not be disappointed!!!
