I bought this travel system for baby who was born in April. The brake kept sticking and eventually the wheel started to lock. I got a replacement and the same thing happened. Now returning to the shop for a refund.

I have been using the Britax B-Smart 3 for the last three weeks and am so pleased with it.
I had a c-sec so was concerned that it may be too heavy but I have been able to lift the frame and carry cot in and out of the house and have used it most days. The frame is robust but light and the folding mechanism is very sweet.
I opted for the carrycot as well as the car seat. The carry cot has been brilliant so that he can lie flat and sleep. It has a clever tummy belt in soft fabric to stop baby getting thrown about. The carrycot is not essential as the pram seat lies flat but it has been really nice to have and can double as an occasional travel cot when visiting parents.
The basket is large and strong and the switch to change from a locked to a swivel front wheel is very straight forward.

The handle can be adjusted very simply which is very good as my husband and I are different heights. The wheels come off very easily which is good for us so that we can get it in the boot of the car, but there is a simple button in the centre of the wheel.

Some retailers don’t stock this pram and I don’t understand why. I LOVE this pram and I am so pleased with it. Do try it out if you see it, it is so light and easy to use.

By only slight criticism is that the brake sometime gets grit in it and you have to press it 2 or 3 times for it to lock/unlock.

This is a brilliant pram and very reasonably priced.

Short Title: Britax B-Smart – silly name good pushchair
    Review:
To be honest we were a bit wary about the arrival of the Bitax B-smart. We liked the Britax Vigour pushchair and didn’t think there was much wrong with it.

However when the B-smart arrived and we’d kicked around the showroom for a while we could see that there were some subtle improvements.

Firstly the fabrics are a lot nicer than on the old Vigour. The chassis is a bit funkier too and the whole package has slightly more aesthetically pleasing and less industrial look to it. The folding mechanism is more robust too.

And the really good news was that they had retained all the best features of the old vigour plus series including, super light weight, easy attachment of the car seat and carrycot onto the adaptors, nice big but still lightweight wheels and a huge hood to keep the sun or rain off.

Overall this is a really excellent pushchair or travel system and manages to pack a lot of features in for a really fair price.
