Review:
Myself and my 2 daughters aged 10 and 12 helped me to do this review weve currently been playing for 4 days.
There was good and bad points i found to this game im afraid to say.
The good:
i love the little mini storylines with the quirky speeches…very much like the show(which im a big fan of).
good for a few hours of entertainment.it also looks like they have really tried hard to use shots as close to the real thing as possible.
The bad points: some of the objects were very hard to find for me let alone my 10 and 12 year old.the game also does not last very long.
.
i found after a few hours it also became a bit tedious to be honest and had to force myself to finish it.
i also had to use the hint button far too much 4 my liking or i would not of finished some levels
Overall:
cheap enough to buy online between

Short Title: Decent game to pass the time
Review:
Installation of the game was fine, no major issues. The only slight issue was the online registration that the process tries to get you to go through – but there is an option to come back to it later.
The sections between each “game” are a conversation occuring between characters. You can skip the whole conversation but I would have liked to have actual voices and also to be able to use the mouse button to click through to the next window of speech rather then having to wait for it to change to the next window itself.
The games itself are good, but some of the object are very hard to find (although i guess this is probably the point of hidden object games!) but it would have helped to see what items looked like – even as a silhouette in the list. Also I found it very hard to find the parts to the recipe as I had no idea what I was actually looking for.
Being able to zoom in on sections of the room would have been good as would have been easier on the eyes when trying to find items. If it wasn’t for the hints I would have really struggled with getting through the game.
Overall, the game is good to pass the time for Coronation Street fans, but some tweeks could have made it even better.

Short Title: Great game for all the family
Review:
I am a fan of ‘Hidden Objects’ games but have to say this is the one I have found to be the better for all of the family to play. It has very obvious items to find and then the very tricky ones. My 5 year old daughter especially enjoyed sitting playing the game with me.
Some of the items are really difficult to find as they don’t look how you would have thought them to but once you go through a few of the levels you get to learn to look for the less obvious. The ‘Hint’ button definitely is needed at times though.
The game takes you through a Coronation Street story which has real characters from the show so it’s a fab game for fans of the program.
I found it was quite relaxing at times and very addictive!!

Short Title: Enjoyable but needs a bit more guidance
Review:
I enjoyed playing this game but felt that for someone who had never played this type of game before there wasn’t enough in the way of guidance and information. There was an option to access online support but I found this was a bit of a faff and couldn’t easily find my way around the site.
I found some of the scenes quite difficult to see but this might have been because of the glare on my laptop screen. For example I found the factory and garage scenes much easier to see in artificial light in the evening rather than in daylight.
The other difficulty for me was in being unable to find an item simply because it actually looked very different from what i imagined! A preview of the objects to be found would have been useful. Obviously this got easier the more I played it. The pieces of recipe were often difficult to find and as others have said the ‘hint’ button was a godsend!
I did find myself returning to play it quite a bit and I enjoyed the story idea although I skipped through the story pages on subsequent plays!
I would definitely consider buying another hidden object game and I will recommend this one to others who are Corrie fans and enjoy simple games on the PC

Short Title: Addictive
Review:
If you like Corry, you’ll like this. The games takes you through a story & you find objects in various sets including The Rovers, the garage and the salon. I would have preferred the story to have been told by the characters rather than having to read it, it made it a bit boring.
I played some of this game with one of my 7 year olds who loved the whole concept of looking for items in a picture full of loads of different stuff.
We both found it very hard at times, Niamh was often caught pressing the hint button lol.
It’s easy to exit out of the game and then re enter where you left off so even if you only have a quick 5 minutes you can still play.
I like it and like the idea I don’t have to go online to play it.
Thumbs up from us

Short Title: A few quiet hours!
Review:
I love hidden object games and so was keen to try out this new game by Avanquest.
For those that haven’t played a hidden object game before it’s quite simply a storyline which involves you finding objects in a jumbled up picture of objects. Once the objects are found you are able to move through the story.
I thought this game would be easy but at times it was really, really tricky and the ‘hint’ option came in handy!
This is a cool game for all Coronation Street fans, all the most popular characters are included in the story about Betty’s missing hotpot recipe.
The game can be completed in a couple of hours so would be great towards the end of your pregnancy when you’re putting your feet up
The only thing I wished this game had had would be more noise, believe it or not! There should be a soundtrack which helps create atmosphere in the game and I’d have preferred the actual characters to speak the text rather than just the words coming up on the screen.
However I’d recommend this game to all Corrie fans who like a bit of quiet time on the PC of an evening!
