This is a fantastic DVD set. In the prenatal DVD it goes through simple routine that relaxes and stretches all the parts you need during pregnancy and for the impending birth!. It also eased my aches and pains very effectively. I found the breathing exercises helped me focus in times of stress. It wasn’t a wishy washy routine as I have found with other DVDs as I definitely felt the effect of my workout but in a positive way!
I enjoyed the pace of the postnatal DVD- not too fast for tired bodies and has different difficulty ratings which is great if like me due to a c section you haven’t exercised in a bit! Also split into sections so you don’t need to do the full thing straight away!!!
I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for exercise during and afer pregnancy!!!

This DVD is definitely for those who wish to stretch and strengthen muscles before delivery date. The exercises aren’t particularly difficult but they definitely stretch all the right parts! The breathing techniques used also help you to learn to control your breathing as well.

I ordered this video as I was finding my regular yoga class too much and wanted some specific yoga exercises that are safe during pregnancy. There are a number of exercises that provide the viewer with gentle stretches relevant to pregnancy but generally it seems to be aimed at beginners rather than anyone who is following any kind of exercise programme already.
    Well worth it!

As an extremely unfit person pre-pregnancy, I must admit I approached this DVD with some trepidation! However, I am hoping for a natural delivery after a C-Section last time round, and felt that I needed to build up some strength. The presentation and delivery is surprisingly cliched, with Shiva Rea having perfected that monotonous, mellow tone! However, once you get past this, she delivers a surprisingly challenging workout. She and two other women represent the three trimesters, so that all poses are appropriately modified. The DVD is also organised into warm-up, standing poses, floor and relaxation, allowing you to do as little or as much as you feel able. This flexibility is one of its best features. However, I was surprised when I realised I required yoga blocks and a strap. Also, I would have liked more focus on the breathing aspect as I have read that this can be very helpful in labour. Nevertheless, I do feel stronger and have noticed improved flexibility – I can do more than just the warm-ups now!
