Short Title: A Great theme park for kids!
Overall Verdict: A great day out!
Best Feature: no queues on rides or food
Worst Feature: gift shop at the end of the day
    Review:
My husband, myself and our 5 children (ages 14, 11, 10, 3 and 1) enjoyed our day out at Gulliver’s land. We were amazed at how easy it was to get from one place to another and it was really well laid out. There were plenty of places to eat or have a picnic and I noticed some of the eateries had family meal deals for 4 people. The only problem we had was Hannah who is one couldn’t go on anything (apart from the under 5s room) and Naomi who is 3 wanted to go on rides that she was too short for but wasn’t a big problem. There was a good under 5′s room which has part cornered off for kid’s parties and it had a few ride on rides that in shopping centres you pay for but just had buttons to start, it also had a activity centre with slide (little tikes style) and a huge and deep ball pond that Hannah absolutely loved (even when she sank and I couldn’t see her!) Naomi loved it too, burying herself deep and then kicking her legs and throwing her arms about. It was really good. The longest wait we had for rides was about 15 minutes which was at peak time and we have had as long as 2 hours in other theme parks so we were impressed with that. Naomi loved the carousel and wanted to live on it. There was also a great activity slide thing on the top of the castle and there was a fairy tale academy where the kids dressed up and got a certificate. The older kids went on absolutely loads and loved most of the rides but not all. It was hard to keep up with them because they just rushed from one ride to the other. I was amazed at the lack of queuing for food and the space there was to sit was plentiful and we found a nice table to eat our packed lunch. There were shows that we didn’t make it into this time and there were interactive shows in the main square with people dressed up and getting the kids to dance which Naomi enjoyed. Dora the explora was around to meet the children and pose for photographs throughout the day. The gift shop on the other hand was a nightmare, it was full of people and there was only one door to get in and out. People were confused where the queue was. The stuff (I could see) was reasonably priced but probably better to go earlier in the day. Overall we found it was a great place to go and was a good value for money. Would definitely recommend Gulliver’s Land to others.

We had a lovely sunny day out at Gullivers World in Warrington. My husband and I are both big theme park fans so we weren’t expecting this park to live up to the likes of Alton Towers, but we were very pleasantly surprised.
The big difference here is that the kids can get on all the rides without worrying about height restrictions. The queuing time was minimal which was fantastic as my daughter wanted on everything ‘now’!
The best part is that there are lots of playgrounds and soft play areas dotted around the park so even younger children can have a lot of fun.
I was very impressed at the number of toilets and changing facilities in the park, although these were a little dated.
Dora and Diego were a big hit and we’re looking forward to visiting again soon when the Mickey’s playhouse area is open. I would recommend this for a family day out, take a picnic as they don’t seem to mind and arrive early because you’ll need a full day to do everything.

Short Title: More for under 5′s
    Review:
We have just enjoyed a family day out at Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath. Set in beautiful Derbyshire countryside it is in a gorgeous location on the hillside overlooking Matlock Bath. It does have a very magical feel to it but we found it definately more for under 5′s. The majority of the rides are for smaller children and our 9 & 7 year old’s got a little bored of the rides on offer. Our 3 year old however was in his element he thought it was amazing! With Dora & Diego around regularly there was no real queue’s to see them.

The park itself is fairly small but very hilly. It was difficult to push the pram in some parts as it’s so steep. It all looks a little tired and outdates but it is clean with lots of bins around so no excuse to drop litter. There were lots of toilets/baby change too which was brilliant

Food is very expensive but there are lots of picnic benches throughout the park and they are more than happy for you to bring a packed lunch with you. staff were all very young and apart from everyone yawning constantly they were really friendly and helpfull

Definately worth a visit for under 5′s, you won’t queue for rides, definately not for anyone with walking difficulties and take your own food!

As an end of school holiday treat, we took the children (all under 9) to Gullivers Theme Park in Milton Keynes.

Having been to plenty of other theme parks in the past, we were prepared (on a sunny Sunday) for big queues, a trek from the car park and a hefty entrance fee, but our visit got off to a great start – adult entry was only
