I have posted a full review of the high chair and over the last week or so have thought of something extra I wanted to add. I really like the chair, especially the baby chair, however, I think it could be safer if it had a 5 point harness like the separate high chair seat. As the baby chair can be quite high up on the frame, it would feel safer if there were straps going over the baby’s shoulders rather than the usual bouncer chair type strap.

About the reviewer: Mum to 7 month old Dulcie
Short Title: The perfect addition to the dining table!
    Review:
I have been using the Sit n Relax for a few days now and I have to say I am REALLY happy with it. First, it was dead easy to assemble. Even if the pictures didn’t make it clear to you, the way it’s been designed makes it obvious.

The unit comprises three parts- the base, with adjustable height sliders each side, the high chair which resembles a comfy baby-armchair, and the recliner seat.

In the first instance I used the high chair seat. It is super comfy with a really high back so you could fit a child in it up to about the age of three I’d say. It also has ‘arms’ which are used to attached the tray onto. Dulcie loved sitting with her hands on the arms without the tray added, although she was very excited (judging by the stiff shake) when I clipped on the tray. This was a very quick and easy task. It should be noted that when not in use the tray attaches to the back of the chair. The chair has a five-point strap system so there’s no danger of the child escaping. If your baby gets tired whilst in the chair, you can also click the chair back a few notches very easily. One of the best things about the unit is that it has a huge fabric basket underneath into which you can throw toys and other play detritus when it’s time to eat.

I tried out the bouncer part next. It’s worth saying here that Dulcie never really liked bouncers much so she didn’t seem massively happy to be in it. For babies who do like them, it’s great as it relines a further two positions from the 45 degree point so that you can even get baby into a flat laying position. Really useful.

Last thing- the base unit folds down pretty small, although when the high chair/bouncer is not in use, you do need a bit of space to store the other part. As far as I can see that’s the only downside.

I absolutely LOVE this product. I would recommend it for any new parent as bouncer, high chair, and a seat for baby to sit in an elevated position to watch you going about your business. They really feel part of things in this. Brilliant.
