About the reviewer: Mum of Dulcie, 14 months
Short Title: Baby likes, mummy not so much!
Review:
Naturally in testing these snacks, I had a taste myself. I have to say I though all of the snacks were rather unpleasant, however Dulcie’s unsophisticated palate meant that she loved them. Firm favourites were the plum bars, one of which I still have knocking around in my bag; I break off pieces here and there to give to her.
The corn puffs and rice cakes to me were tasteless but again, Dulcie lapped them up. She seems to like to munch on them whilst she plays.
I’d buy these again as they are reasonably priced, you can use them for lots of snacks and baby seems to like them.

About the reviewer: Mother of one
Short Title: Good but not great!
Review:
William really enjoyed the fruit chewy bars and they were easy to break up and save for another snack. He loves fruit but often won’t eat a whole piece, so this is good for on the move and means less waste!
The biscuits weren’t such a hit – but that could just be personal preference. Will doesn’t seem to go for biscuits much at all!
Rice cakes are always a hit, and he loves savoury ones! I feel much happier giving him a rice cake than crisps! Also I like them too – and he always seems to want what we are eating, so its great for us to eat something together!

About the reviewer: Mum to one of each flavour!
Short Title: Fairly good range
Review:
We have tried a few products in the Little Nibbles range which I will detail below…
I tried the products out on my 18 month old boy and my 5 year old daughter wanted to try too.
- Tomato & Sweet Red Pepper
Rice cakes-
These were a hit with both my children. They do both enjoy rice cakes but this was the first time I’ve tried them with a savoury flavour and was impressed! Good for taking a few out in a tupperware pot.
- Apple Elephant Biscuits –
Neither of my kids were particularly impressed with these. They are very plain in flavour and pretty uninspiring in out opinion. I do realise that the range is intended for first tastes and believe this is where these biscuits are best suited… for a 12 month old who’s never had real sugary biscuits!
- Fruit Bars with Cereal –
My 18 month old boy enjoyed these while on trips to the supermarket. Great tasty snack individually wrapped, so great for keeping in your handbag to pull out. Seems healthy and tasty.
- Squiggly Corn Puffs –
My partner and I likened these to the kind of polystyrene ‘chips’ you get in packaging! They tasted as bland as them too!! The kids seemed quite accepting of these by all accounts though, although I must admit I used the remains of the packet crunched up to coat and fry chicken for their dinner.
All in all a good range for younger children with the usual organic Hipp quality.
