Tips on Teaching Your Baby to Swim
About the reviewer: Mother of a little pickle called Kayla
Short Title: Disappointing
Review:
Kayla and I tried out the Huggies my first swim kit this weekend at our local baby pool. Armed with our Huggies Little Swimmers and towel we were all set.
The fit of the swim nappy was as good as the normal huggies. The fact that the sizing goes from 3 to 7 kg means that with weekly swims we can wait until the whole packet is finished before moving up to the next size. The swim nappy was easy to put on quickly with the tabs before the wriggle monster started to make a dash for the pool.
Kayla seemed very comfortable in the pool with the little swimmers on. The cuffs didnt chaf her legs and the nappy itself did not bulk out as we entered the water so Kayla could still kick and splash and freely move around. It also meant that I could hold Kayla securely.
Little Swimmers Swim Nappies = GREAT!
The little swimmers towel was a big let down though. I would have preferred to pay extra and have a fluffy hooded poncho which is much easier when it comes to swimming trips.
The Little Swimmers towel was, well….. CHEAP! It wont be used again.

Short Title: Great idea but not sure I would buy it.
Review:
Have just returned from our family holiday by the pool so gave these a good try.
I loved the fact that the nappies were not pull ons – so much easier to put on with a baby. Arlo didn’t oblige with the ultimate test of doing a poo but I generally thought they were great – you could even peg them on the line to dry out and use them again!!
The towel was not as impressive – it was far too small for Arlo (17 weeks) and soaked by the nappy as soon as you wrapped him in it, although it did dry quickly.
I would definately buy the nappies again but doubt I would be tempted to buy the kit in its entirety.

Short Title: Loved these
Review:
We loved these nappies.
We took them away on holiday with us and to be honest this was all we needed to have taken for our little girls swimming.
No wet costumes, no hassle getting her in and out when we finished in the pool we just took the nappy off and threw away which was great.
Saves space in the bag as all nice & compact and though the towel was rather small it would certainly do the job!
Would definitely recommend & use again & again!

Short Title: Great swim nappies!
Review:
I’ll sing the praises of these swim nappies until the cows come home! I’ve given 5 stars for ease of use because unlike any swim nappies I’ve ever used previously, these are ‘open’ nappies with actual tabs as opposed to a nappy pant. This makes getting them on and off a breeze.
I’m not so taken with the towel though to be honest. We took our 9 week old son (who’s a chunky monkey!) for his first swim and would have liked a bigger and fluffier towel. The absorbancy was ok but I just wasn’t able to wrap him up fully without little limbs poking out….it’s square rather than rectangular & therefor a bit short. Afraid I marked the kit down a couple of notches because of this.
