I have had my cherry since the birth of our DD 18 months ago and it has been a pleasure to use. It’s easy to move, easy to fold, and compact so fits neatly in the boot of our fiesta. The colour is vibrant, the seat comfortable, and the handle soft and manageable with a big shopping basket.
The versatility with the stroller is a massive bonus, with it’s front and rear-ward facing options as well as being able to be turned into a travel system with the maxi cosi cabrio car seat and adapters option.
It’s not top dollar so it’s great value for money, but it still has that iCandy quality. The stroller is so stylish, and I am so proud to be seen pushing my DD around town with it!
If I was given a penny for every compliment I’d received it’d pay for itself!

It’s definitely the lightest stroller in the iCandy range – and to fold it you need to separate the seat from the chassis making it that make much lighter to carry.

The seat is a decent size – I like the belly pad buckle is attached to the seat so that it doesn’t keep falling off each time I put the bubba in and out of the seat. I like the reversible seat, the removable bumper bar (which I find only has use for handing toys) and most of all the large basket – for a lightweight stroller it’s a perfect size!

I also found it a perfect stroller with the maxi-cosi car seat, the adapters click into place and presto a travel system!

It might not tackle all terrains so smoothly but generally I’ve been able to manoeuvre it one-handedly at times even when fully loaded.

My only issues are the result of wear and tear – it’s been well loved and well used so I would definitely give this top marks and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, luxury stroller :)

We wanted a *luxury* stroller that didn’t come with a top-end price and so eventually settled on the Cherry. And have to say, other than the odd wear and tear we’ve been more than happy with ours.

I get a lot of pleasure from using it around town and the kudos of an icandy from other mums – plus in practical use, it is lightweight (as most will probably say) but for what we need – a city stroller, this is ideal!

We’ve read of issues with the back wheels wearing quickly, but having spoken to the sales assistant at John Lewis I was informed that problems sometimes occur after “improper use” – so be careful to not put excessive weight (shopping bags) or else the bearings could split or come to wobble.

However, other than having to spray some mr sheen to keep the folding mechanism working smoothly, we’ve avoided any problems.

All in all, from a father’s point of view, this doesn’t score top marks for its durability but for practicality and value for money. Would definitely recommend!

I purchased the i-candy cherry in December and was disappointed to open the box nd find that the slots at the side which are used to convert between the car seat and pram were faulty. I returned the product to John Lewis and received a replacement.
This time the button was broken beneath the handle which must be depressed to fold the frame!
Back it went again and another replacement arrived. This time all was well except that there were no rain covers.
Once all problems were resolved and Daisy was born I was proud to use the i-candy, however in less than a month the right hand front wheel was deformed and the i-candy had to be returned yet again.
John Lewis were excellent throughout, they could not apologise enough and offered a temporary replacement and some gift vouchers as a good will gesture.
All issues do now seem to be resolved however I’m naturally caustious because of the number of problems I’ve experienced.
For a relatively expensive product I-candy’s quality check process prior to dispatch seems pretty poor!

It took quite a while for us to decide which pram we were going to go for but decided on the Cherry as we loved the iCandy range. A very pretty pram which lives up to the expectations as lightweight and easy to handle, an absolute godsend on public transport and around shops. Extremely delighted with our Cherry.

    Review:
I spent ages reviewing prams/pushchairs and travel systems and in the end decided on the i candy cherry. I am very pleased with my decision.
It is easy to put up and fold down and manages most terrains. It is lightweight and fits easily into the car boot

The carry cot is good however my daughter has outgrown it quickly and i am reluctant to put her in the pushchair attachment as i am unable to adjust the height of the shoulder straps and therefore she is not in a secure position and the straps rub against her face.

A good quality pram that i would buy again however it has developed an annoying squeak!

    Review:
The i-candy cherry pram we bought was an excellent choice. I spent endless nights trawling through online reviews of travel system after travel system and eventually just had take the plunge! I had narrowed my search down to two- i candy or quinny. My other half loved the quinny… my only problem was it didn’t quite fit in the boot of the car and i would have had to spend time jiggling it about or take a wheel off as the shop assistant suggested!!!! Can you imagine??!!

Anyhow I went for the icandy cherry and i have no regrets! The maxi cosi car seat slotted on perfectly and was so good for short travels into a shop. The carry cot was also useful, although i did use it a lot less than i thought i would. I’m now using the pushchair bit as my little girl is now 1. It seems to suit our lifestyle perfectly- shopping, walks in the park and even that occasional daytime nap!

If i had one gripe with the icandy i would say that sometimes the pushchair bit can be awkward to pull off the frame but that’s probably as i’m rushing and if i simply aligned the buttins it wouldn’t be a problem!

    Pros:
Light (easy to get in and out of car boot)
    Manoeuvres well
Easy to put up and take down
    Shopping basket good size

    Cons:
Pushchair would need insert for smaller children
