When the sleeping character is illuminated the child knows he or she has to sleep a while longer. At a time set by the parents the character changes to the wake up position; the child then knows that they can get up! There are two time settings, one for the morning nap and one for the afternoon nap.
The clock can also be used from birth as a traditional nightlight as the display can be completely illuminated.

With 22 month old boy and another baby on the way we really want to have one child that actually sleeps! Will is notorious for getting very early so we were hoping that the clock would help. I did find it rather hard to get to grips with the settings (maybe just baby brain?) we have found that although he really like the clock to fiddle with it does still seem a little advanced for him at the moment. However, it is great for getting him to recognise that there are different times should be happening, even if he doesn’t stick to the. I think by the time baby 2 arrives in a couple of months he will be able to follow the signals of the clock. A great awareness tool at this age but not so easy for little ones to follow! Saying that, it could just be his inability to have a lie in!!!

We tested the pink sleep clock. My daughter is 2 and a half and she was very excited about this when it arrived. We talked about how it showed us day and night and looked at the pictures too. The first morning we had this set up, my daughter came running in to our room at the time we had set it up as morning, saying ‘mummy my clock says it is time to get up! come and have a look mummy!’
It was FABTASTIC!
We turn the clock on as she goes to bed and this is now a solid part of our night routine. Every morning my little lady tells me she knows it is morning and she can get up! Since having the clock she has been sleeping much better and hubby and I think this product is just fab! totally think it is worth its cost and would recommend to all!
Only slight issue we can find is that the buttons for setting up is a little fiddly as they are small and not smooth to click timings etc forward. Small issue though.
Totally fab overall

I got the pink version of this cute little item. I have to say, upon opening, I found it a little hard to figure out how touse without reading the instructions which were quite small text (I’m blind!) but once in full use it’s a great little gadget. My daughter, 3 was so excited and I let her put in the sleeping cow slide of a night and explained what it meant! There are different light settings and two different slides, a day and a night!
It has definitely helped in our house, as my daughter now knows when she is allowed to get up and run around, and I get an extra hour or so in bed! WINNER!
