Short Title: Good for all ages
Review:
I have 2 boys – Oliver aged 8 months and Jonny aged 3.5 years) so we’ve had our fair share of cars and vehicles around the place. This toy is really good for both of my boys.
Most of the pieces are not too small for Oliver and he loves to play with the car with his big brother.
Also, as there are lots of pieces and the station needs to be created, it kept Jonny amused for a long time too.
For this reason, I think it is a great toy for any normal mum trying to keep more that one child amused at once!!

As soon as this set arrived my 2 year old son couldn’t wait to open the box. The police car with the lights and siren has been a big hit, he has had many hours just scooting it around the floor. The lego set comes with step by step instructions that my 6 year old daughter followed and built the jail with ease. I would say for a 2 year old this would be difficult to understand. The set is of very high quality and the attention to detail is excellent. The figures and dog are a great size for little hands. My son has played with this police set everyday over the past week and I am sure it will be one of his favourites.

When this arrived my children were thrilled and I couldn’t get it out of the box quickly enough! The set comprises a police van with siren and opening door, which my son took to racing around our floor, delighting in its imaginary play value. The set also comes with ‘walls’ and doors so that a jail (with a little wash basin!) can be made for the little robber and policeman who also come with the set. My daughter particularly loves the little dog! The quality of this set is fantastic but I do think it could do with just a few more bricks to give the set even more play possibilities, the box it came is was certainly big enough for a few more. Any child who loves Lego duplo will adore this set, as my children do!

Our boys love this! My youngest loves anything with wheels so is permanently attached to the police car with opening door and flashing lights! His big brother enjoys building up the prison and putting the prisoner inside and then letting him escape out the window!
The little police dog is a nice touch too!
We have had hours of peace in the house with this and it is the first toy out every morning!
The only negative is the oversized box it comes in, and I would have liked a few more bricks in case of the inevitable lost ones!

My son and daughter have been budding police officers ever since we got this! Its versitility and appeal are apparent as it has been used by a boy and a girl, toddler and schoolboy.
Included in ‘The Police Station’ is:- a policeman figure, a robber figure, a police dog, a police van with a working flashing siren which is removable (although not too loud or annoying!), two jail walls-one with door one with window, and some lego bricks. The two jail walls give the opportunity play the policeman looking in or the robber looking out. We added bricks from an existing set to make the jail four sided. The only slightly negative comment from my son was that there wasn’t enough bricks to build the last two jail cell walls.
Overall, its a lovely set to develop imaginitive play and the usual quality expected when you think ‘lego’.

Review:
my children are 21 months and 5 years and both loved playing with this police station, police van with working siren and robber/policeman and police dog. Very easy to build and no bits that are small enough for little ones to choke on. Very good value for money and great fun. I would definately buy this.
