Short Title: a great product for pregnancy and labour
Review:
Pregnant with my first child, I was a bit nervous about the birth, and I was determined that I didn’t want any intervention or drugs. I know that this was a bit naive, as you never know what’s going to happen, but I thought that a Natal Hypnotherapy (hospital birth) cd would help ensure a natural birth. But it did so much more than that!
From first listening to the cd I immediately felt a lot more sure about things, sure that I could cope with the rest of my pregnancy, and sure that I would also cope with the birth, whatever happened.
The cd’s guided visualisations and relaxation exercises made me feel calm, and also helped me to sleep – something that has always been difficult for me, especially in pregnancy.
When it came to labour I felt completely in control, and was calm through my contractions. The midwife even thought I’d had an epidural! I knew just what to do when I had a contraction, and although I could still feel the pain, (some people don’t feel pain at all with these cds), I could easily turn it down, so that it got smaller.
My baby was in a difficult position, being back to back, and face-first presentation, so I had to have an episiotomy, but the relaxation exercises and, I think, the state of mind I was in from listening to the cds got me through it.
And now I have really happy memories of pregnancy, and amazingly of labour and birth too!

Short Title: A must-have product!!
Review:
This is a really brilliant set of products and they should probably be called ‘meditation CDs’ as opposed to ‘Hypnotherapy CDs’ (as some people can be needlessly put off by the word hypnotherapy … whereas these CDs really just focus on chilling you out and getting you in the right mindset for birth).
I first heard about it at The Baby Show (where they had a special offer of a set of 4 CDs for

Short Title: can’t hurt to try!
Review:
I listened to this cd, although not as regularly as I should have and it’s a really good relaxant – I found I didn’t usually get to the end of the cd without falling asleep!
I honestly don’t know if it helped with my labour, but I know that I was in active labour for about 8 hours and I only used gas and air for pain relief. So although I didn’t really use the visualisations from the cd it may well have helped to keep me relaxed in the earlier stages I think. Definitely worth a try if you think it’ll put you more at ease.

Short Title: Natel Hypnotherapy birth preparation cd
Review:
My second labour put me off having any more children, so finding out I was pregnant again was a shock!
I have been stressing out about labour,so I bought the ‘Effective Birth Preparation’ for hospital and its CD for labour. I am very impressed with the preparation CD, but you do have to make the time to listen to it at least 3 times a week. The labour CD could do with some better music, a couple of the tunes sound like elavater music. But hopefully they will keep me in my trance like state, also helpful if you have your birthing partner listen to it with you.
Fingers crossed for the birth!

Short Title: Audio relief!
Review:
Being my first pregnancy I have obviously experienced a certain degree of anxiety surrounding the whole childbirth topic!
Although I haven’t actually been through the birth yet, having listened to this CD twice, I now feel much better prepared.
I was so anxious that I was considering a c-section. However, I have a much better idea of what to expect now and am not feeling as petrified as I was. The CD’s have taught me that there are ways of managing my pain and that I will get through it. It’s not such an intimidating thought now. I would definitely recommend this CD to anyone about to give birth. It can only help!
