Me and my partner LOVE this travel cot… more importantly our 4 month old loves it too! When we first saw it we were a bit sceptical because its a “pop-up” cot and were afraid it was going to be like a cheap tent that a 3 year old would play with but now we are SO glad that we took a chance on it. The NScessity Cot does literally just pop up.. it’s that easy! It comes with a self inflating(!!!) mattress and a cover to go on top of that which our little one is more than happy to sleep on without the mattress as its really thick. Our main reason for buying is that we’ve booked our first family holiday abroad and its just so much more practical than a conventional travel cot. It’s light weight weighing in at only 6kg (boxed) so perfect for putting in your luggage instead of checking in an extra piece of baggage. Also it zips up with mesh panels on the sides so to protect your child from mosquitos…again great for holidays!
We’ve taken it to grandparents houses…weekends away…friends houses… everyone has been so impressed with it because of how small it is when folded.
It’s a little tricky to fold down at first, it takes a few attempts but its kind of like riding a bike… when you’ve done it once you can do it again and again and again.
One down side is that the self inflating mattress does have to be topped up a little by breath but its not really a problem.
