Question: Breast to bottle feeding
About the reviewer: Mother to Theo and Alicia
Short Title: Loved the design
Review:
Theo wasnt to sure about drinking from a beaker I think he thought it was a toy he loved to hold it and thought it was very funny! but drinking might take a bit of practice.
I loved the design and it was very light for little hands which was good.
The price was excellent very good value, but on the down side was the fact that you couldnt put it in the microwave steriliser which did put me off a bit.

About the reviewer: mum to Conor 6 mths
Short Title: good training beaker
Review:
Conor found this beaker easy to use which I was suprised by as I have been struggling to get him to use anything other than a bottle. It is disapointing not to be able to put the beaker in the dishwasher/microwave

About the reviewer: mother of Alfie, 6 months
Short Title: Babies favourite!
Review:
Alfie just adored this little training cup! He loved the handles which are flexible and soft making it easy for him to hold. It is also really light so little people don’t get worn out.
The teat is soft and easy to drink from which is great as I have found that Alfie does not want to make too much effort when the only reward is cooled boiled water!
It easy to clean and has a very reasonable price tag.
Every weaning book you read tells you that it is important to keep mealtimes “fun”. Alfie and I think this beaker is an excellent way of achieving that goal.

About the reviewer: mother to Eva (4) and Ethan (6 months)
Short Title: Nice little cup
Review:
I liked the size and shape of this beaker. It was easy for Ethan to hold as it was small and light with soft handles. He also liked the soft teat and used it more of a teething aid than a drinking vessel!
A good value product.

About the reviewer: Mum to Isabel nearly 8 months
Short Title: Very disappointed with manufacturing.
Review:
This cup looks great and Isabel really likes it but it has several huge faults
1) Recommended not to use in dishwasher
2) Recommended not to use in microwave (so can’t use mircowave steriliser.
3) Leaks – Isabel dropped it on the floor while I was feeding her and when I picked it up there was a huge puddle on the floor.

About the reviewer: Mother to Lucas, 6 months old
Short Title: Suberb trainer cup
Review:
This is an excellent trainer cup. Lucas loved the soft teat and the handles are prefectly designed for him to be able to grab and bring the cup to his mouth. He loves it so much that I now have to hide it until he has finished his dinner otherwise he spends the whole time drinking instead of eating.
The handles are also fully adjustable and I loved the fact that they are not connected the teat.
The small bottle makes it perfect for carrying water for the day and it fits easily into my steriliser

About the reviewer: Mum to Joshua – 6 months
Short Title: Fab little beaker!
Review:
I was impressed with this beaker! It is nice and small making it easy to take out and about. The teet is small and very soft and allowed easy flow. Although when tipped up the teat did leak…
The beaker had fab little flexible handles which made it easy for Joshua to use himself.

Short Title: NUK Bottles
Review:
I am breast feeding my baby (he is six weeks old) but from week one I introduced a bottle occasionally to give my cracked nipples a rest. They have been brilliant and there’s no dribbles so I don’t even need to use a bib!

About the reviewer: Mum of 4
Short Title: Good for breastfed babies
Review:
This is the only bottle my baby will accept. He is breastfed, and after trying a huge range of brands and different teats, only the NUK bottle with a NUK latex teat seems to work for him.
The bottle is easy to clean and sterilise, and the teats are very natural and shaped to resemble nipples. My son looks like he is “latched on” when he drinks from this bottle. Definitely worth the money.

About the reviewer: mum to Mia
Short Title: A healthier feed
Review:
Having breastfed my daughted exclusively for 6 months, I was a little concerned about introducing formula and had no idea where to start when it came to selecting a bottle!
I was sent some NUK bottles to try and despite a few initial hiccups, Mia took to them well. The teat isn’t too big and once she’d got used to the bottle, fed well every time.
Apparently, the bottles are also equipped with a special air system that’s approved by the British Dental Health Foundation so it’s kinder to their teeth and gums too.
I was impressed, though admittedly I haven’t used any other bottles so don’t have anything else to compare them too.

About the reviewer: mum to Sophia and Ethan
Short Title: Great for breastfed babies
Review:
Both of my children are breastfed but with both, I’ve endeavoured to get them used to a bottle from an early age so they don’t become to dependent on feeding from me all the time!
I tried a variety of bottles with Sophia (most of which she rejected after three months of being b’fed exclusively) but found the NUK bottles to be the best. The teats are shaped to mimmick the breast which made it easier for her to feed and the air flow system seemed to prevent her from getting too much trapped wind!
I have consequently used these bottles with Ethan and he has fed well from them from the start.
The sucking motion required for most bottles is totally different to feeding from the breast so I think it’s great a company has gone all out to create a bottle that requires a sucking motion that’s as close to the breast as possible. The teats on some bottles are gigantic, it amazes me that any baby could feed happily from them!
I would recommend the NUK bottles to anyone.
