This black out kit is a great, simple and reusable solution to those light and bright early mornings when you are away.
Our three children have always had black out blinds at home, and so going away has traditionally been tricky as their rooms are so much lighter in the morning that they wake up much earlier…
The kit is very compact to pack, and when you need it you simply trim the large sheet to size and apply it to the window with double sided tape, which can be reused so you can let the daylight in during the day.
This really is a winner for us and will be coming on all our family holidays!

This was the ideal product for our recent holiday.
I have black out curtains on the childrens windows at home so I was concerned that we wouldn’t get any sleep when we went away.
The kit is about A4 size when it’s all folded so it’s perfect to just slot into your suitcase.
We managed to use this one kit on both of the windows that were in the bedroom so only one kit was required. We did trim it down to size slightly to get the perfect fit.
It is possible to take these down and put them back up between uses but we found we didn’t bother as it would be too much of a hassle to put the backing tape back on each morning to stop the tape losing it’s stickiness.
If you do need new tape though you can reorder this seperately so the blinds can be used over and over (obviously this wouldn’t work particularly well on certain windows if you had cut it to fit a smaller one).
The black out effect from this blind was very effective and the children slept incredibly well with it up. It was easy to use and I think very reasonably priced. Less than

My boys are very used to sleeping in the dark, and whilst they will nap almost anywhere – the darker, the better.
Which is what makes this just the most convenient thing in the world!
If we’re going to family, and staying then we can take this with us and use it there – we appreciate that not everyone will have blackout coverings on their windows!
To be able to go on holiday and take it with you in your suitcase and apply it where ever you are means that you have peace of mind of a good nights sleep. A very generous roll of double sided tape is provided to allow you to use it anywhere.
For the price as well, it’s a steal – who can put money on a good nights sleep?

I was amazed at the difference that this blind made to bedtimes and nap times. It’s so simple and easy to use. The large sheet can be cut to size then stuck onto the glass or the window frame. It cuts out almost 100% of the light.
It comes with a role of strong double sided tape which is great especially if the blind is up and down all the time and packed away on holiday. It takes up hardly any room so is so easy to pack into your travel bag.
The only downside I found was that I had put the blind on the floor to apply the tap and it had attracted all the dust from the floor, so it needed to be brushed. Apart from that I was really happy with it and will be taking it with us anytime we go away.
