    Short Title: Very disappointing
    Review:
When I first saw this monitor in its packaging I thought it looked lovely, sleek and slimline – a welcome change to my old bulky one (which has started picking up German radio!) However, the reality is disappointing.

The battery life is very poor. We followed the instructions for initially fully charging the battery, but on first use it only lasted for 2 hours which wasn’t any use. The two-way speaking system really appealed to me but when we tried to use it, it interrupted the signal. We had to turn the parent unit off and on before it would work again.

We had frequent signal problems, though, without using the speaking function. The parent unit would lose signal at any given moment and it could take anything from a few seconds to a minute for it to reconnect. Mostly we had to turn it off and on again to regain signal. We only live in a small flat, and our daughter is only 6 metres away from us at any time. There was no reason for it to keep losing signal so often.

I liked the nightlight. It worked pretty well and the light level is perfect. It’s bright enough to check on baby, but not so bright that it disturbs her.

Overall, this product looks great on the surface, but it has a lot of creases that need ironing out. For the price, it is very disappointing. I would expect a lot more.

About the reviewer: Mum to one of each flavour!
    Short Title: not particularly impressed
    Review:

Upon first glance this monitor looks great with it’s slimline sleek design, modern look with wall mounting and great sound quality…. in my opinion the reality is quite a different matter.

I set it up as per the instructions but found the battery life on the parent unit disappointing. I also discovered that despite being able to hear my son breathing upon turning it on, the connection would often drop and I’d be left out of touch with what was going on. Not good.

Summing up this monitor, I’d say it would be ok as a second or back up unit and only if it was being used within a short range although using it like this I’d find it overpriced.

Short Title: Looks nice but not too user friendly

I was really excited when I saw this monitor, it was slim line and light weight unlike my old monitor which had been like carrying a brick around!
I followed all the instructions and charged the battery pack for 12 hours prior to use though when I turned it on to use it flashed and according to the manual this means it needs charging so I switched off and charged for a further 12 hours though agin the battery light continued to flash after about 10 minutes.
The Night light feature is nice and I like the fact that you can speak both ways through the monitor.
The actual sound quality is very good no crackling or interference though I find the fact that the child monitor flashes when the parent unit is switched off quite frustrating.
on the whole the monitor looks good though I would expect better for the price.
