    Having done pilates during early pregnancy and ante natal yoga classes, I thought this would be a great tool during the third trimester to prompt me to do more at home. I found that the voice and music got in the way rather than relaxing me. It was also interesting that some of the postions practised in this DVD had been advised against at my classes – who is right??? Possibly a really good tool to use from the beginning, but starting at the third trimester I wouldnt reccomend

    I received this dvd while I am in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy meaning I couldn’t do some of the sections, I found it so nice to be doing yoga again, I did yoga with my first pregnancy and felt it helpful but with my second I have had bad sickness and sciatica pain so not wanting or having the motivation to go and exercise in public. This was the joy of this dvd I do it in my own front room and I find it really does help with my aches and also calms me and helps me to sleep, which is something I am also struggling with just getting comfy. I found the music to be quite loud but listening to the words of the instructor made me feel very proud to be a pregnant lady I enjoyed this dvd and will be continuing my yoga days when baby is born(5 weeks)well I am going to try. :)

    i’m guessing if you are used to yoga then you’ll find this useful but not being a yoga person i found it a bit unusual. probably because i’m not used to sitting in one place and trying to to do gentle exercise!!! the morning sickness chapter didn’t help me and i’m definitley suffering bad nausea but most of the exercises needed you to bend forward which is a big no, no for me right now as it brings my nausea straight to the forefront. if you like yoga this is probably just up your street but it wasn’t for me and i can’t comment on all the dvd as i’m only in my first trimester i have to say i did find the music in the background rather off putting as sometimes it was louder than the instructor who was speaking rather quietly.
